ELSTEAD LIGHTING TAKES OVER LUIS COLLECTION

Elstead Lighting has just announced the takeover of the popular base and shade specialist Luis Collection Ltd of Bedford. Arrangements are now in place to transfer all stock and operations to Elsteads’ own premises in Alton, Hampshire with all existing customer orders taking priority.

Offering a comprehensive and very stylish model range of table lamps, shades and some ceiling fittings, the Luis Collection has been held in high regard for 22 years with Interior Designers, Hoteliers and high class Lighting Retailers. Founder and range designer Isabel Lui will maintain a role within Elstead to assist with the transition and development of ranges for 2010.

Elstead Managing Director Jonathan Lucas explains:

 “We have long felt that Elstead has an opening to offer bases and shades, so to get the opportunity to take on a mature and popular business such as Luis Collection offers an ideal situation for us. Added to this we are delighted that Isabel Lui herself will assist with the business transition and bring her many years of design and development knowledge to take the range and designs forward. This move is very exciting for Elstead and everyone involved.”
